As a mother apart from her daughter, Frances has gone through the pain of separation, and the shame associated with this, even though she is a good mum and had done nothing wrong. Whilst searching for help on the internet, as she was forced to go through the family courts, she discovered that there are hundreds of mums just like her, who had been through divorce and then separation from their children. But these mums keep quiet, and don’t share their stories.
